In 2009, a yellow Concept Camaro was featured in the movie "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen" as Bumblebee. That was officially when the popularity of the Camaro started to dramatically increase. The latest 2010 model cars are available in the following colors: black, silver ice metallic, imperial blue metallic, summit white, victory red, rally yellow, inferno orange metallic, cyber gray metallic and red jewel tintcoat. There is also a Synergy Green Special Edition Color available.
Before the 2010 model was released the last year the Chevrolet Camaro was built was in the year 2002. In 2006, the modern styled concept was featured during a car show in Detroit. Sometimes referred to as Camero and Cheverlet Camero, the Camaros price ranges according to trim edition specs. Here is the latest pricing info for the 2010 edition: LS Edition: $22,680 - 1LT Edition: $23,880 - 2LT Edition: $26,875 - 1SS Edition: $30,945 and 2SS Edition: $33,945. The aftermarket special editions range in price from $35,000 to $50,000. These editions are more expensive due to the added parts and accessories. On most car tv shows and automotive websites the Camaro is usually compared to it's two biggest rivals, the Ford Mustang and the Dodge Challenger.
