Ever since it was released nearly 50 years ago, the Chevy Camaro Car has been a symbol of both speed and power. The car was created by Chevrolet in 1967 to compete with the Mustang. And ever since than there has been countless of races and competitions between the two cars. But in 2003, Chevrolet decided to halt production of it's famous muscle car.
At first it may have seemed like an odd move but now that the 2010-2011 Camaro has been released we see that it may have been the best thing for the automaker to do because now the Chevy Camaro is the most talked about car on the planet, it was featured in the series of Transformers movies and even beat the Mustang in overall sales in 2010 (which is something it hasn't done in over 25 years). Also, as of today, it is the best selling muscle car in America.
The fifth-generation Chevrolet Camaro car is available in the following colors: black, imperial blue metallic, summit white, silver ice metallic, victory red, rally yellow, cyber gray metallic, inferno orange metallic, synergy green and red jewel tintcoat. The 2011 model is available as either a convertible or the classic two door coupe. The car comes with a 6 speed manual transmission but a six speed automatic transmission is also available. The V6 has only 312 horsepower but it has better gas mileage than the V8 version. The 2012 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 will feature a super-charged engine capable of reaching over 500 horsepower. The Chevy Camaro is priced at $22,000 for it's base model equipped with a V6 engine and $34,000 for a fully loaded SS model.
